Strengthening Electoral Integrity and Inclusion

The Fijian Electoral Office (FEO) together with the Commonwealth Secretariat, hosted the Commonwealth Election Professionals (CEP) Pacific Region Talanoa, in Nadi from 18 to 22 November. Chief Electoral Officer, Ben Kiluwe was in attendance representing the RMI.

                          Work Program
To conduct successful and fair elections every four years.

Responsible for the supervision, conduct and organization of elections (including elections by consensus) and of referenda, and for the registration of electors and the maintenance of the Electoral Register, and has such other powers, functions, duties and responsibilities as are conferred or imposed by law. [P.L. 1980-20, §13.]
                      Strategic Planning
To conduct successful Namdrik Special Election in October 2024,  fair referendum in April 2025 and general election in 2027.
Continue to implement improvement plans, as per review after 2023 general election.
